STEVE OLSEN
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Steven Douglas Olsen, 59, of Idaho Falls, died July 4, 2005 at his home.
He was born August 4, 1945, in Rigby, to Owen Douglas Olsen and Edna Jensen Olsen. He attended Coltman Elementary School and later graduated from Bonneville High School. He then attended college at Utah State University.
On August 1, 1968, he married Cathryn Jane Drollinger in Osgood. They were later divorced. On December 13, 2003, he married Donna Lou Kidd in Idaho Falls. For 25 years he worked for Bechtel Bettis. He also owned a backhoe company. After the Teton Dam Disaster, he helped clean up the area and build the Idaho Canal.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed white water rafting, hunting, woodworking, and loved the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2005, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) with Del Roy Jensen officiating.
The family will visit with friends Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and for one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Ucon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
