STEVEN W. NELSON
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Steven Wayne Nelson, 49, of Idaho Falls,
died January 16, 2004, at the Life Care Center from Huntington’s
Disease.
He was born January 9, 1955, at Cedar Rapids Air Force
Base, South Dakota, to Charles Langford Nelson and Cleo Cora Bleedner
Nelson. He attended schools in Snohomish, Washington and later moved to
Idaho Falls where he graduated from Skyline High School.
He married E. Loretta Gruver August 23, 1975, in Idaho
Falls. They were the parents of two sons and were later divorced. He owned
his own building and remodeling business in the Rigby and Idaho Falls
area.
He was a member of The Crown of Life Lutheran Church
in Rigby.
He loved spending time with his sons, and enjoyed hunting,
backpacking, photography, woodworking and the outdoors.

Stepmother: Catherine Nelson, Spokane, WA
Stepbrother: Tom (Elsa) Nelson, Victorville, CA
Stepsisters: Denise Nelson, Rene Thompson and Beth Nelson, all of Spokane.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandfather.
A Memorial service will be at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, January
17, 2004, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with
Reverend Michael Kennedy of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Grangeville Cemetery in Grangeville,
Idaho, under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
