Steven Jacobson

Steven Arden Jacobson, 75, of Ammon, passed away August 5, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Steven was born January 9, 1948, to Mack and LaVon Jacobson in Provo, Utah. He grew up in Orem, Utah, graduating from Orem High School. He attended Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Steven served in the United States Navy for six years with multiple tours in the Phillippines and Vietnam. He was proud to serve his country. He worked as a foreman for US Steel.

Steven married Trina Pace in 1977, and they were blessed with one daughter, Natalie. In 1988, they moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, to start their own business, Country Oak Furniture. Steven also worked as a handyman in maintenance and construction.

He enjoyed restoring Corvettes and building street rods. He had been a member of the Corvette Club of Utah and Eastern Idaho Early Iron Car Club. He served as an officer in both car clubs. Steven and Trina spent time traveling throughout the West attending car shows and winning many awards.

Steve was an avid Boise State football fan. Never missing a game, either watching on TV or traveling to Boise to watch his Broncos on the Blue.

He is survived by his loving wife, Trina, of Idaho Falls; daughter, Natalie (Jay) Meyer of Rigby, ID; three granddaughters, Aslynn, Lauren, and Brooklyn.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2023, at Iona Cemetery. Military Honors will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Navy Honor Guard. The family will visit with friends from 2-2:45 p.m. prior at The Brickyard Event Center, 1025 S. Ammon Road, Ammon, Idaho. A gathering will be held at 4 p.m. at The Brickyard Event Center following the graveside service.
