Steven Ross Robison, of Ammon, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on November 22, 2025 at the age of 82.
Steve was born on April 25, 1943, to Roy and Evelyn Robison, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Steve met the love of his life, RaNae Stosich, in 5th grade during summer band. He attended Ammon Elementary, Ucon Junior High and Bonneville High School. Steve was Student Body President, a straight A student, and played football and basketball. During the summers, he worked on his family's ranch near Bone, Idaho. He mended fences, moved irrigation pipes and harvested hay and barley.
He served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Frankfurt, Germany for 2.5 years. Following his mission, he married his sweetheart, RaNae, in the Idaho Falls Temple. Steve attended BYU and graduated in 1968 with a Bachelors in Zoology.
Although his degree was in science, his real talent was his salesmanship. He had an inventive mind and was a born entrepreneur. He started selling consumer goods to make it through college. This love of sales turned into a lifetime career. Steve and RaNae were owners of a Kirby Factory Distributorship for many years and ran the business together.
Steve and RaNae had their first child, Heidi. Their son, Steven, was born 9 years later, and their family was finally complete. Their family is everything to them.
In addition to missionary service, Steve served as Elder's Quorum Pres, Bishop, and High Council member. Steve and RaNae also served as missionaries at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Steve enjoyed boating, golfing and going out to dinner with his family.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Evelyn Robison; brothers, Maurice, Richard, Rulon, Kay, and Val; and sister, Shirley.
Steve is survived by his wife, RaNae; daughter, Heidi (Hunter); son, Steven; grandchildren, Conner (Kynna), and Maddie (Parker); and great-grandchildren, Evie and Crew (Conner and Kynna).
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the Ammon North Stake, 4363 East 17th Street. A viewing with family and friends will be from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow at the Iona Cemetery.
