STEVE EVENS IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Steve Evens, 58, of Idaho Falls, died July 10, 2004, at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot of lung cancer. He was born September 13, 1945, in Rexburg, Idaho to Jack S. Evensiosky and Gladys Stratton Evensiosky. He grew up in the Idaho Falls and Shelley areas and attended local schools. His lifetime companion was Barbara Stone. He worked as a jack of all trades, among them truck driver and farm hand. He especially enjoyed farming and working on a farm. Steve was an outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. Surviving are: Companion: Barbara Stone, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Stephanie Evens, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Joe (Theresa) Evens, Port Mansfield, TX Brother: Val Evensiosky, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Mike (Linda) Evensiosky, St. Anthony, ID Twin Sister: Juanita (Augie) Monjaras, Port Mansfield, TX Sister: Billie (Kent) O'Neil, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Carol Evens, Wendell, ID Sister: Bonnie Colangelo, St. Anthony, ID Stepdaughter: Terrie Jeffs, Archer, ID Stepdaughter: Trina Fazendin, Idaho Falls, ID Stepson: Jason Stone, Boise, ID 7 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, Harold Holmes, and two brothers, Bruce Evens and Boyd Evens. No funeral services will be held. A family gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
