Stephen Olaveson

Biography

Stephen Richard Olaveson was born in Idaho Falls on April 13, 1953, to Drew and Tony Olaveson. He had one sister, Sue, and three brothers, Kevin, Dave and Terry. Steven got married Aug. 16, 1971, to Ivy and had two sons, Richard and Kelly, who gave him three grandkids, Darian, Maycie and Drake. He passed away June 9, 2011. Steven worked at the old Sugar Factory, H&K and Monrock. He finally decided to go back to school and after graduating as an electronic engineer her was hired on out at INL. He loved his friends, family and all of the many animals he had over the years. He will be greatly missed by all. Friends and family can meet up at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at his favorite watering hole, Karen’s, on Park Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted there.
