Stephen Dee Killian

Stephen Dee Killian, 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 9, 2025, at his home with his loving wife beside him. He was under the care of Eden Home Health and Hospice and his loving family.

Steve was born July 22, 1945, in San Jose, California, to Don Thorne Killian and Lois Russell Killian. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, graduating from Idaho Falls High School in 1963.

On October 29, 1963, he married Terrie Douglas in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and they were blessed with two sons, Scott and Jeff, where Steve worked at Tractor Sales. Steve and Terrie were later divorced. On May 18, 1996, he married Holly Kay Anderson in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where they blended their families together. They made their home in Idaho Falls where Steve worked as a Senior Tech at the INL.

Steve loved spending time in the outdoors, enjoying boating, racing motorcycles, riding snow machines, softball, golfing and bowling.

Steve is survived by his wife, Holly Kay Killian of Idaho Falls, ID; sons, Scott (Debbie) Killian of Swan Valley, ID and Jeff (Laurel) Killian of Riverton, UT; step-son, Gale Lynn (Katherine) Danielson of Idaho Falls, ID; step-daughter, Mindy J. (Dan) Meyer of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Coralee "Lee" Davidson of NJ; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Lois Killian; and two brothers, Michael Russell Killian and Jan Don Killian.

A celebration of life will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road.
