GEORGE KISHIYAMA
IDAHO FALLS, ID - George “Stanley” Kishiyama,
88, of Idaho Falls, died January 12, 2005, at the University of Utah Burn
Center.
He was born December 18, 1916, in College Ward, Utah
to Jingoro Kishiyama and Tesu Kawamura Kishiyama. He moved to Idaho Falls
as a young child where he attended schools graduating from Idaho Falls
High School.
He served as a Sargeant in the U. S. Army during World
War II. He worked as a mechanic, a farmer, owned Bank-A-Ball Billiards
for a time in Idaho Falls, but mostly enjoyed prospecting which he did
over much of the western United States. He also enjoyed camping, fishing,
hunting, bowling and traveling.

Sister-in-law: Ada Kishiyama, Idaho Falls, ID
Nephews: Dan (Nancy) Kishiyama
Spencer (Angie) Kishiyama
Victor (Pat) Kishiyama and
Kayne (Leora) Kishiyama, all of Idaho Falls, ID
Preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Bill Kishiyama, and two sisters,
Yoneko and Fumiko.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January
17, 2005, at Rose Hill Cemetery. Military Rites will be performed by the
Bonneville County Veterans Team.
Services are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
