Sirildo Martinez

Sirildo Martinez, 88, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 14, 2024, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital. He was under the care of his daughter, Cindy.

Sirildo was born April 1, 1936, in Lovell, Wyoming, to Thomas Martinez and Francisca Apadara Martinez. He grew up and attended schools in Nyssa, Oregon.

He married Neola Hansen in Blackfoot, Idaho. Sirildo and Neola made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Sirildo worked as a laborer for Stewart’s Recycling.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, riding bikes, long walks, and coin collecting.

Sirildo is survived by his daughter, Cindy (Nick) Martinez of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Sirildo Martinez, Jr. of Idaho Falls, ID; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Neola Martinez; parents; and thirteen siblings.
