Shyla Lynne Cayton, 30, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 28, 2017, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after courageously enduring health problems.
Shyla was born August 24, 1987, and not without a difficult beginning, outlived the doctor’s predictions of a life expectancy of two years, then eight years, then 16 years. Shyla struggled throughout her 30 beautiful years on this earth with heart problems and Turner’s Syndrome. At nine days old she endured her first open heart surgery with more to follow throughout her precious life.
She loved spending time with family and friends. She loved to read books, watch TV and go on her great adventures. Shyla could light up any room she walked into. It seems like she only lived a very short life but for her it was a long and fulfilled life of blessed years she wasn’t supposed to be able to live. Her beautiful soul will be dearly missed and always remembered for her bright smile and caring nature.
Shyla is survived by her stepfather, Marvin Sheetz of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Amy (Mike) Smith of Idaho Falls, ID; niece, Emily Lundquist of Butte, MT; niece, Kaydee Messinger of of Idaho Falls, ID.
She was preceded in death by her mother Deana Sheetz and biological father, Jon Cayton.
