IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Shirley Ann Whitman, 67, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 23, 2008, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 9, 1941, in Lewisville, Idaho, to Louis Wallace Shipley and Velma Lucille Monroe Shipley. She attended schools in Menan, Rigby, and Idaho Falls.
In 1958, she married Franklin D. Evans and they had five children, Audrey Ann, Susan Rebecca, Howard Andrew, Vernon Charles, and Roxanne. They later divorced. She married Dale Aiken and they had one child, Steven Dale. They were later divorced
In 1978, she married Richard E. Whitman. They were later divorced, but always remained best friends. She worked as a seamstress and also was a long haul truck driver with Richard. She was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
Shirley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed sewing, long haul trucking, traveling, and fishing.

Sister: Francis (John) Merril, Lewisville, ID

19 Grandchildren & 6 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, her parents, and a grandson.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2008, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon, with Jim Summers officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and Monday for one hour prior to the services, both at Wood East Side.
Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
