Shirley Whitbeck

Shirley Jean Stevens Whitbeck, 86, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 4, 2017, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls. Shirley was born November 18, 1930, in Schenectady, New York, the daughter of Raymond Frederick Stevens and Helen Frances Reittinger Stevens. She married Judson Franklin Whitbeck June 27, 1953, in Scotia, New York. Shirley was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She also worked as a Registered Nurse at New England Baptist Hospital. Her husband preceded her in death. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed art, camping, and swimming. Survivors include her son, Bruce Jay (Trina Lyn) Whitbeck of Idaho Falls, ID, and siblings, Dirk Brian (Debra) Whitbeck, Duane Allen (Lisa) Whitbeck, Neil Glen (Alysha) Whitbeck, and Leigh Ann (Kraig) Smith. No services will be held.
