Shirley June Cox Price

Shirley June Price, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 2, 2021, at Parkwood Meadows Assisted Living Center. She was under the care of Encompass Health.

Shirley was born June 1, 1932, in Hudson, Colorado, to Essie Claude Cox and Anna Bell Henderson Cox. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.

On December 26, 1948, she married Donald Ray Price in Idaho Falls. On September 13, 1985, she married Bud Gullixson. On May 8, 2005, she married Gary Bennett. He passed away February 1, 2017.

Shirley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had many hobbies. She enjoyed golfing, quilting and sewing. She ran the Pronto Pup trailer at the Eastern Idaho State Fair for over 50 years.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Mark) Reisenburg of Idaho Falls, ID, son, Bradley J (Judy) Price of Idaho Falls, ID, son, Brian (Pam) Price of Boise, ID, daughter, Carolee (Robert) Adams of Idaho Falls, ID, daughter, Shirley Dawn (Robert) Baran of Colorado Springs, CO; 23 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, and 24 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Ray Price, Lawrence Orville Gullixson, and Gary Bennett, parents, and two sons, Brent Price and Blaine Price.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 8, 2021, at Idaho Falls Parri Ward, 6925 North 15th East. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 am to 10:45 am Friday prior to the service. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
