Shirleen Hall

SHIRLEEN B. HALL IDAHO FALLS, ID - Shirleen B. Hall, 69, passed away April 15, 2004, at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. She was born March 17, 1935, Logan, Utah, to Arthur E. Beckert and Elva Clifford Beckert. She grew up and attneded schools in Brigham City. Upon completing her schooling she moved to Idaho Falls, where she met and married Roy D. Hall. Shirleen and Roy had three sons, Mitchell, Brian and James. She later went to work for the Atomic Energy Commission and worked on the Nautilus project. Shirleen loved to attend Bible studies and serving the Lord. She also enjoyed quilting, spending time with her grandchildren, skiing, swimming and ice skating; she loved going to lunch with her friends. Shirleen and Roy loved to travel both locally and abroad, especially enjoying the Jackson Hole area. Shirleen lived a wonderful Godly life, serving God and serving others. She is survived by her sons, Mitchell (Karen) Hall of Cascade, WI, Brian Hall of San Clemente, CA, and James Hall of Boise, ID; three step-children John (Marie) Hall of San Clemente, CA, Michele Hodges of Twin Falls, ID, and Robert R. (Debra) Hall of Bellevue, ID, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and her brother, Donald Beckert, of Sandy, UT. Shirleen was preceded in death by her beloved Roy, her parents and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2004, at Christ Community Church, 5742 South 5th West. The family will visit with friends Thursday at 12 Noon at the church. In Shirleen’s honor, in lieu of flowers, please sponsor a needy child. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
