Sherry Hope

Sherry Doraine Hope, 65, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 14, 2018, at her home. Sherry was born October 2, 1952, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Jesse Gale Downs and Dorothy Mae Fryer Downs. She grew up and attended schools in Hamer Elementary and graduated from West Jefferson High School. On August 8, 1997, she married Michael Hope in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Sherry and Michael made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They were later divorced. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Sherry enjoyed crocheting and crafting. She loved doing karaoke, graphic editing and working on computers. She was preceded in death by her parents and one older brother, Zane. Sherry is survived by son, Shyanne (Sherry) Mattson of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Bannon (Tammy) Mattson of Rexburg, ID; daughter, Shaundy (Larry) Hinojosa of Rexburg, ID; son, Shalen Hope of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Farrel (Brenda) Downs of Hamer, ID; sister, Glenda (Bruce Cox) Downs of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Connie Downs of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Julie (Jim Burneel) Downs of Emmett, ID; and 30 grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
