Sherrie Turner

Cheryl Caroline "Sherrie" Turner, 73, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 25, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Chauncey Leroy Webb and Lucille Marie Welch Webb were blessed with the birth of Cheryl on February 11, 1945, in Utah. Cheryl grew up in Utah with her brother and sister. She graduated from Jordan High School in 1963. Cheryl was a strong-willed and fearless homemaker, caretaker, wife, and mother, who was no stranger to adversity and strife. Cheryl married the love of her life, Harold Turner, on August 11, 1972. Their union of almost forty years, was blessed with five children, Jacquelynn, Chauncey, Margene, Holly, and Dwight. During those years, Cheryl enjoyed camping and the outdoors. Family vacations and trips may have been to locations with little to no name, but substance and sentiment became their legacy. After the passing of her husband, Cheryl was cared for by her daughter, Holly. During this time, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow. Cheryl was always the consulate homemaker, she was never content to be waited on, and she always insisted on helping. Cheryl would often be found watching crime drama and doing word puzzles, keeping her mind active. Cheryl loved spending time with her granddaughter, Zoey, helping her with homework, watching movies, and coloring with her. Cheryl was always close to nature. She loved listening to birds, watching butterflies, and taking care of her plants and animals. She had the best sense of humor, and was always filled with life, kindness, consideration and compassion. Cheryl Turner will live forever in our hearts. In loving memory of Cheryl Turner.
