Sherri Green

Sherri Vaun Green, 53, of Iona, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at her home. She was born May 18, 1959 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Fred Leon Olson and JoAnne Whittle Olson. She attended Hillview Elementary, Bonneville Jr. High, and Bonneville High School. On September 7, 1979, she married Grady “Odell” Green in Idaho Falls. Together they raised three children. Sherri was a member of the LDS church. For many years, she worked as a waitress at various restaurants in Idaho Falls and later owned Shodee’s Bar. Sherri loved her family and spending time with her grandkids. Survivor’s include: Husband: Odell Green of Iona, ID; Son: Shaun Odell Green of Iona, ID; Son: Jesse Richard (Memorie)Green of Idaho Falls, ID; 5 Grandchildren: Jurni Chase, Keidryn Chase, Ashley Petersen, Kreed Green, and Kaybree Green; Father: Fred Leon (Colleen)Olson of Idaho Falls, ID; Brothers: Fred Lynn Olson of Ririe, ID; Andrew Scott (Stephanie) Olson of Ririe, ID; Kriss Guy Olson of Meridian, ID; Step-brothers: Don (Barbara) Atwood of Ucon, ID; Ron (Brenda) Atwood of West Valley, UT; Joey (Jessica) Atwood of Rigby, ID; Sisters: Kerry Jo (David ) Davies of Meridian, ID; Sharla Sue Harris of Ucon, ID; and Step-sister: Kris (Troy) Wood of West Valley, UT; She was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn Whittle; her daughter, Jonell Walker; and grandparents Donna Green, Andrew Cornelius Olson, and Ora Vaun Olson. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sherri Green Memorial Fund in care of Odell Green, at any Wells Fargo Bank.
