Sheril Lynn Kofoed, 76, of Idaho Falls, passed away on February 28, 2011 at his home.
He was born September 6, 1934, in Weston, Idaho to Gordon Elverow Kofoed and Leone Ruth Simmonds Kofoed. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. He served as an Airman First Class in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
On June 11, 1960, he married Sharon Christensen in Idaho Falls. Sheril was a painter and paint contractor and owned Kofoed Painting and Garfield Paint Center. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and Painters and Decorator Contractors Association (PDCA).
Sheril was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved boating, fishing and hunting in the Palisades area.

Son: Taryl Lynn Kofoed, Idaho Falls, ID
Daughter: Lori Michelle (Richard Bolton) Kofoed, Boise, ID
Sister: Janyce Lundahl, Phoenix, AZ
He was preceded in death his parents and a sister.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. The family wishes to give a special thanks to everyone who helped them though this difficult time.
