Click Here To View Memorial Video Sheila Gaye Theobald-James, 58, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 23, 2014, at her sister’s home. Sheila was born November 6, 1955, in Boise, Idaho, and adopted by Cloy J. Theobald and Mable Wetzel Theobald. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. On April 15, 1983, she married Jimmie “Buck” James in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They had four children; Christopher, Marsha, Julie, and Jimmie. Sheila and Buck made their home in Idaho Falls, where Sheila worked for 39 years at the INL. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, jewelry making, tea parties, coffee with friends, family dinners, being a grandma, and helping others. Sheila was an avid reader and traveler. Sheila is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Buck James of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Christopher James of Plant City, FL; daughter, Marsha James of Lakeland, FL; daughter, Julie (John) George of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Jimmie (Jasmine) James II of Idaho Falls, ID; birth mother, Avelina Gomez of Elko, NV; sister, Julie Theobald of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Della Elizabeth Tinno Dixey of Fort Hall, ID; sister, Anna (James) Brown of Elko, NV; sister, Marie (Kelly) Patzer of Elko, NV; sister, Monica Romero of Reno, NV; brother, Richard Gomez of San Francisco, CA; brother, Pablo DeLeon of Elko, NV; brother, Martin DeLeon of Elko, NV; 11 grandchildren, and two on the way; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cloy J. Theobald and Mable Wetzel Theobald. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road with a visitation one hour prior to services. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
