Sheila Judkins

Sheila Welker Judkins, 75, of Idaho Falls, ID, passed away January 27, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family while under the care of Solace Hospice.

Sheila was born June 19, 1950, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Edward Dale Welker and Mary Ellen Thornock Welker. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.

On May 25, 1968, she married Alford LeRoy Judkins in Idaho Falls. They were divorced in 2015. Sheila owned a restaurant in Arco (B&B Melodie Club) and throughout her life she served as an accountant, waitress, housekeeper, bartender and in her earlier years as a candy striper for the local hospital.

Sheila is survived by her son, Brett L. Judkins of Idaho Falls, ID, son, Bryce A. (Heather) Judkins of Pasco, WA; daughter, Amy Bobbit of Danville, VA; sisters, Karen McComas & Lisa (Mike) Sutton; brother, Paul (Nancy) Welker; brother-in-law, Dennis Ellis; sister-in-law, Sharon Welker; 14 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Ellen Welker; son, Brian Dean Judkins; sister, Brenda Ellis; ex-husband, Alford L. Judkins; and his parents, Leonard & Blanch Judkins; and stepfather, Jim Hillman; brother-in-law, David McComas, and brother, Larry D. Welker.

Sheila loved riding on Harleys and was affectionately know to all as "Blondie". She enjoyed spending time with her family (especially all her grandbabies) and all her many friends. She was more than a friend to all the people she knew and was the type of person that would take in lost souls and make them feel valued as person. Some would say she saved more souls than a priest.

Sheila left a great hole in many hearts and will be deeply missed. She will never be forgotten and will always remain in our hearts and thoughts.

A graveside service will be held at later date (TBD) and will be broadcast by her family in the spring via social media.
