Shawna Russell

Shawna Jo Heyrend Russell, 58, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 29, 2018, at her home.

Shawna was born December 30, 1959, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Delaine Heyrend and Darla Sides Heyrend. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.

She married Brent Russell in Idaho Falls. To this union were born two children, Shannon and Joey. Shawna made her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Shawna worked as an artist and homemaker.

She was a member of Watersprings Church. She enjoyed artistic endeavors, planting flowers, going to yard sales, camping, riding motorcycles, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends.

Shawna is survived by her loving partner, Les Talley of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Shannon Heyrend of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Joey Russell of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Tammy (Jeff) Waldron of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Lana (Terry) Berry of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Todd Heyrend of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Shane (Cecila) Heyrend of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Travis Heyrend of Idaho Falls; aunt, Debbie Moore of Idaho Falls, ID; 7 grandchildren. Shawna was loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, George and Thelma Heyrend and Don and LaVern Sides, and a niece, LeNeigha Heyrend.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery, 4600 South Yellowstone. The family will visit with friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
