Sharon Kay (Richards) Kent

Sharon Kay Kent, 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 28, 2025, at Eagle Rock Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia.

Sharon was born April 2, 1946, in Basalt, Idaho, to William Richards and Lorena Maybelle Jones Richards. She grew up and attended schools in Basalt and graduated from Blackfoot High School. She also attended college in Colorado.

In 1967, she married Mike Kent in Bingham County. They were later divorced.

She enjoyed arts and crafts, Bingo, football, and especially spending time with her grandkids, and her dog, Tiki, who was her best friend.

Sharon is survived by her son, Jason (Shannon Thomas) Kent of Idaho Falls, ID; and grandchildren, Jaycee, Ashlyn, Sebastian, and Jesse, all of Idaho Falls, ID.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her 13 siblings.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
