Sharon was born February 24, 1940, in Butte, Montana, to her parents, Lucillie and Homer Hulverson, and enjoyed her childhood growing up in Elk Park. She had only one younger sister, Dianne Hulverson Duncan, who was always so dear to her.

Sharon herself was a beloved long-time piano teacher and maintained relationships with several of her students. She served as president of the Idaho Falls Music Club for a short time and was a guest artist of the Idaho Falls Symphony. Later in life, she earned a Master’s Degree in English Literature from ISU and was an avid reader. She was a founder of a book club and always reliable to be compassionate, courageous, and no-nonsense.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Modrow, a retired engineer from INEL. They were married in 1975, and lived in six different houses, building two, over the last 49 years. Sharon is survived by her three children from her first marriage, Terri Vivian Richardson, Greg Vivian, and Stephanie Vivian Dear, together having nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Ron has three children from his first marriage, Doug Modrow, Connie Modrow, and David Modrow, together having six grandchildren.
