Sharon Hill

Sharon Joyce Howe Madsen Carroll Hill, 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away on April 9, 2016, at home. She was under the care of Aspen Hospice. She was born February 16, 1937, in Rigby, Idaho, to Richard Leslie Howe and Lela Lois Hawker Howe. She grew up and attended schools in Rigby. On April 4, 1953, she married Richard Madsen in Rigby, Idaho. They made their home in California. He preceded her in death on August 12, 1978. On January 15, 1981, she married Mark Carroll in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. She married Albert Hill in 1989 in Idaho Falls and he passed away in 1993. She worked as a Sergeant at the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed antiquing, quilting, reading, and especially loved her family and being with them. Survivors are: Son: Craig (Debbie) Madsen of Ririe, ID Son: Allen (Vickie) Madsen of San Jose, CA Son: Dane (Dana) Madsen of Boulder Creek, CA Daughter: Lisa (Ken) Boozer of Idaho Falls, ID Son: Larry (Jill) Madsen of Colorado Springs, CO Son: Bruce (Judi) Madsen of Boulder Creek, CA Daughter: Shannon (Tom) Herndon of Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Thayne Howe 24 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Richard Madsen and Albert Hill; and siblings, Dean, Leslie, Montie, and Lynn Howe. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016, at the Ammon Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
