I opened up today's paper to read the obituaries as my Uncle Farrel died on Monday and read in addition about Sharon's death. Let me tell you about the wonderful impact she had on my life.
I met Sharon when my Grandmother was living in Good Samaritan (or Good Sam as it's often called). Sharon always had an amazingly wonderful attitude and was such a joy to be around! She went out of her way to visit and to encourage Grandma (and many others I am sure).
After Grandma died in 1998, Sharon and I stayed in touch through e-mail. She would share jokes and other tidbits with me and I would do the same with her. I had not heard from Sharon in a while and wondered how she was doing.
Sharon's death saddens me but please know that she touched so many people! I will not be with you at the funeral but know that you and yours will remain in my prayers and my thoughts!
In His love,
Jane Freund

I fondly remember Sharon when my grandmother, Lily Hansen and my father, George Freund, were residents of Good Samaritan. Sharon was a bright star in each day and so kind and caring. She will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with her family and the staff at Good Samaritan.

As Sherry's cousin we shared some precious childhood memories as my family visited with hers during our vacations together. Sherry and Ed were close to my brother, Bill's and my ages. I testify that she will be resurrected along with those who have passed on at our Lord's second coming. May the family be comforted with this assurance.
Love,
Richard

Dear Sister Harrell, As a former visiting teacher to you and a friend of Sharon's in the 24th Ward, I want to send my expression of sympathy to you at the time of her passing. She was a friendly person, and wrote interesting stories to read with good cheer. Now I am your neighbor again (at Linden Place) and hope to call on you at Lincoln Court to say Hello.
Sincerely, Mary Jane Fritzen
