Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Sharon Rae McQueen Foster, 82, passed away at her home, into the loving embrace of her Heavenly Father on June 10, 2016.

Sharon was born to Dan R. McQueen and Mabel Lucille Thompson McQueen on April 11,1934, in Preston, Idaho. Sharon was raised in Boise, Idaho. She was the oldest of three children. She went to school in the Boise area and graduated from Boise High School. She then attended State Beauty College because she loved to do hair. While attending Beauty College, she was introduced to Jay Foster, a barber, who was attending college as well. Jay and Sharon were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on July 6,1954. After graduation, they moved to Idaho Falls.

Sharon was a homemaker, loved to collect recipes, and was a wonderful cook. She was known for the best Turkey dressing and potato salad and was a hit at every family gathering. She also loved dancing, skating, sewing, hiking, singing, playing the piano, and writing letters. She loved to make fleece blankets to give to family and friends. She was a wonderful mother and loved her family very much.

Sharon was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony of the gospel. She served in several callings including Relief Society, Young Women, Sunday School, Primary, and Librarian.

Sharon is survived by her children Kenneth (Patti) Foster; Kevin Foster; Linda (John) Herbst; Sherry (Royce) Clements; Kym (Wendy) Foster; Kelly (Stefanie) Foster; 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and sister, Connie (Carl) Waite.
