Shane Paul Beasley, 54, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 10, 2021, at his home. Shane was born November 29, 1966, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Jay Dee Beasley and Carla Margie Herbst Beasley. He grew up and attended schools in Blackfoot and graduated from Snake River High School. He received his Associate Degree in Diesel Mechanics from Arizona Automotive Institute. Shane made his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where he worked as a truck driver for Kvamme. Shane was a hard worker, both in his professional career and in family life. He loved to take the time to show the grandkids how something worked or to teach a skill to one of his coworkers.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends in front of his homemade grill, camping, and mudding. Shane was famous for his loud infectious laugh. He was a big debater. No subject was off limits for him and he was stubborn when it came to changing his mind. You could always find Shane outside. He enjoyed tinkering in his yard or in the front flower garden. He was quick to offer help when it came to neighbors and friends. Once you had come to the house one time, you were no longer a guest, but practically family. Shane is survived by his children, Ashley (Teegan) Koontz of Idaho Falls, Jessi (Ethan) Sterling of Pocatello, ID, and Mitch (Chris) Beasley of La Porte, TX; brothers, Clay (Meg) Beasley of Pingree, ID and Lance Beasley of Blackfoot, ID; sister, Steffanie Beasley of Caldwell, ID; and his six grandchildren, Daphne, Harper, Miles, Rhys, Amelia, and Charlotte. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of life will be held on November 20, 2021. The family will be hosting everyone at the Skyline Activity Center (1575 N. Skyline Drive, Idaho Falls, ID 83402) from 3-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent to local animal shelters to help fund adoptions.
