SHANDA HART MURRAY, UT -- Shanda Lucille Hart, 70, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 10, 2009, at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. Shanda was born on March 24, 1939 in Ogden, Utah, to Carl LaVerl Child and Delila Smith Page Child. She lived and attended school until she was 14 in Clinton, Utah. She also lived in Salt Lake, Ogden, and Bountiful, Utah. She met Charles Dean Hart in September of 1955 and fell in love. They were married December 31, 1955, in Elko, Nevada. They had three boys. They lived in Ogden until 1971, when they moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho. Shanda and Charles were very much in love. He passed away in January of 1989. Shanda worked in many potato warehouses and at King's Department Store on 17th Street. She worked for School District 91 in the cafeteria at Clair E. Gale Jr. High School and retired because of health in 2001. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Visiting Teacher and Birthday Card Coordinator. She enjoyed playing cards and games, movies, visiting with friends, and spending time with family. Survivors include: Son: Charles Mark (Nacole) Hart, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Kelley Dean (Staci) Hart, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Todd C. (Renee) Hart, Plain City, UT Sister: Barbara (Darrell) Bigler, Ogden, UT Brother: LaVerl (Carol) Child, Ogden, UT Sister: Suzanne Wayment, Ogden, UT Brother: Robert (Gale) Child, Ogden, UT Eleven grandchildren: Crystal (Ryan) P’Poole, Daniel (Kim) Broadfoot, Michael Broadfoot, Kaytlyn, Shayleigh and Isaak Wilcox, C.J. and Morgann Hart, Justin, Kelcie and Hannah Hart. Three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Honorary brother and sister Richard and Adonna Aeschlimann, very special friends, Jim and Deb, Sandra and Ken, Linda, Shirlene, Ron and Cheryl, Leona, Roxy, Jane and all the friends at Card Club and Easy Breathers. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, step-father, and loving husband. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
