Shamarie Ann Johnson

ShaMarie Ann Johnson, 33, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 18, 2024, at her home.

ShaMarie was born July 6, 1990, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Kevin Wayne Moses and Karen Annette Richins. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and attended Idaho Falls High School.

In 2017, she married Eric Doyle Johnson in Idaho Falls. ShaMarie and Eric made their home in Idaho Falls where ShaMarie worked as an assistant manager at Stinker.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was interested in the true crime genre and had her own podcast called “It Is What It Is: a True Crime Podcast.” She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family.

ShaMarie is survived by her husband, Eric Doyle Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Karen (Gary) Davis of Idaho Falls, ID; father, Kevin (Toinette) Moses of Boise, ID; daughters, Maizie and Natalie; sisters, Desiree (Michael) Sullivan of Idaho Falls, ID, and Andrea (Dallas) Davis of CA; brothers, Kevin (McKenzie) Moses and Zachary (Jaime) Moses, both of Idaho Falls, ID; step-brothers, Tyson (Michelle) Davis and Cole (Sydney) Davis, both of CA; step-sisters, Tiffany (DJ) Woodruff of Idaho Falls, ID and Sabrina Tschudi of NC; grandmother, Cathie Reisenburg; and grandpa, Wally Moses; as well as a very large army of extended family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dean Keith and Ida Kay Richins; and her step-grandpa, Mark Reisenburg.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
