SELMA E. GOE
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Selma Elizabeth Wiese Goe, 88, of Idaho
Falls, formerly of Swan Valley, died August 24, 2003, at Life Care Center.
She was born May 9, 1915, at Bassett, Idaho, to Herman
Julius Wiese and Anna Minna Loyall Wiese. She grew up in the Garfield area
and attended Rigby Elementary School and Rigby High School.
She married Thomas Theodore Goe October 17, 1933, in Ririe.
They made their home in Roberts and later Ririe, where they farmed. They
later moved to Pine Creek near Swan Valley, where they resided until 2001,
when they moved to Idaho Falls. She was a homemaker and farm wife. Thomas
passed away February 5, 2003.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church. She enjoyed feeding
birds, crocheting, square dancing, camping, visiting with family and friends,
and loved her dogs. She had beautiful handwriting and had won awards for
her penmanship.

Brother: Harry Wiese, Caldwell, ID
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 29,
2003, at the Wood East Side Chapel, 963 South Ammon Road, with her nephew,
C. Boyd Wiese, officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Friday for one hour
prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon).
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home East Side.
