Scott Wade

Scott Marven Wade, 55, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away October 12, 2011, at his home in Belfair, Washington. He was born on August 21, 1956, in Reno, Nevada to Marven Alma Wade and Alice Berthalene McClanahan Wade. At the age of 5, he moved with his family to Idaho Falls where he attended schools and graduated from Skyline High School. In November of 1976, he married Carol Ann Fouts in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Seattle Temple in June of 1985. In April of 1981, Scott enlisted in the United States Navy. He made the Navy his career and received the rank of Petty Officer First Class. He was a Supply Management Specialist and ordered submarine and ship parts. During his service he was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), Meritorious Unit Commendation (two Awards), Battle Efficiency (five awards), Good Conduct Medal (five awards), Navy Expeditionary Medal, Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (three awards), Sea Service (seven awards), Coast Guard Special Operation and Expert Pistol Medal (two awards). He is survived by his: Sister: Carie (Gary) Woodhouse of Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Peggy (Dennis) Greener, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Roger (Geneine) Wade, Layton, UT Sister: Jodi (Caleb) Anderson, Lewisvile, ID He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a sister, Cathy Wade. The family will visit with friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. Burial will be at Fielding Memorial Park.

The family will visit with friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge).
