Scott LaVier Reeves, 60, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 22, 2017, at Hospice Home of Eastern Idaho. Scott was born January 21, 1957, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to LaVier Grant Reeves and Mayda E. Anderson Reeves. He attended Eastside and Longfellow Elementary schools, O.E. Bell Junior High and Skyline High School. On September 26, 1975, he married Sherrie Christopherson in Blackfoot, Idaho. To this union were born two daughters, Becky and Tanya. Scott and Sherrie made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Scott worked in the electrical distribution field for 37 years. He spent the last two years working at JC Sales and Service with his son-in-law, Gary. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, camping, classic cars, road trips, motorcycles, shooting guns, electronics, and crashing & rebuilding computers. Scott is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sherrie Reeves, of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Becky Lynn (Gary) Covert of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Tanya MaRee (Randy) Mitchell of Mountain Home, ID; brother, Michael (Linda) Reeves of Rigby, ID; sister, Teri (Jim) Bell of Idaho Falls, ID; and 5 grandchildren: Mackenzie, Joe, Justin, Josh, and Hayley. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Friday, both at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.

11:00 AM ,Friday, January 27, 2017 Wood Funeral Home 273 North Ridge Avenue Idaho Falls, ID 83402 Notes: The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 6:30-8 p.m. and Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
