Sarah Weigel

Sarah Edna Piram Weigel, 98, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 11, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born September 16, 1917, in Roy, Montana, to Walter Buechner and Mini Shultz Buechner. She grew up in the area and attended schools in Billing, Montana. Following her graduation from high school she attended Polytechnic Institute in Billings, where she played basketball and earned a degree in business. She married Victor Francis Piram in Montana. He preceded her in death. She later married Alvin Weigel and he also preceded her in death. She was a mother and homemaker and worked as a Distributor for Kirby, Inc. Sarah loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing. She also enjoyed bowling and participated in Bowling Leagues. Survivors are: Daughter: Patricia Marie Henricksen, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Lyle Wayne Piram, Idaho Falls, ID She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; and two sisters, Helen Dunn and Florence Fulton. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Idaho Falls.
