SARAH MARIE COOPER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Sarah Marie Hill Cooper, 78, of Idaho Falls, died March 12, 2006, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of natural causes.
She was born December 4, 1927, in Thornton, Idaho, to Robert Painter Hill and Hazel Manila Thomason Hill. She was raised in the Thornton area and attended schools in Rexburg. She graduated from Rigby High School.
She married Claude E. (Bud) Cox May 25, 1946, and they were later divorced. They made their home in Idaho Falls and raised five children. She worked at Mountain Bell Phone Company until she and Bud decided to relocate to Long Beach, California, when she transferred to Pacific Bell. She retired in 1983.
She married Andrew Blair Cooper August 8, 1972, in Nevada. They moved back to Idaho Falls in February of 1983, to be closer to their family. Andrew died in 1991.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, card games and just being with her family.

18 Grandchildren & 31 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Donald Hill and Ralph Hill, and a grandson, Brian Cox.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2006, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, with Steve Ricks of the Ammon LDS 3rd Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
