Sara L. Young

Sara L.Young, 62, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 20, 2026, at Eagle Rock Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia.

Sara was born February 24, 1964, in Salt Lake City, UT. During her childhood she moved around a lot and lived in many different places. When she was older she worked in a carnival.

She was a member of The Outwest Church. She enjoyed beading and making jewelry, she loved her treats, especially Pringles and Dr. Pepper, and enjoyed shopping at thrift stores. She also served and found purpose at the Ruth House with the Idaho Falls Rescue Mission. Most of all she loved her family.

Sara is survived by her son, Homer Barlow, daughter, Heather Martell, daughter, Amanda Sue, son, Chris Young; and 4 grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
