Santiago Ponce Hurtado

Santiago Ponce Hurtado, 54, of Rigby, Idaho, passed away November 12th, 2020, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Santiago was born January 19th, 1966, in Michoacan, México to Santiago Ponce Avila & Maria Martha Hurtado Vega.

Santiago worked at Rigby Produce for approximately 15 years and was well known and liked by many.

Santiago was a great friend to many, a very caring and loving man who would give you the shirt off his back. He was always respectful and always willing to give a helping hand. Santiago enjoyed fishing, camping, going to the casino, spending time with his significant other, Lucy, of ten years, and with his friends whom he loved as family.

Santiago is survived by his partner, Lucy Galaviz of Rigby; his loving sons, Juan Carlos Ponce of Idaho Falls, Adrian Ponce of Boise; his loving daughter, Marissa Ponce of Boise; three beautiful granddaughters, and five brothers and four sisters.

Santiago is preceded in death by his father, Santiago Ponce Avila; his brother, Florencio Ponce Hurtado; and sister, Margarita Bedolla.

Graveside services will be held at 12 noon Monday, November 23rd, 2020, at Annis-Little Butte Cemetery.
