Sandy Prestwich

Sandy Prestwich, 80, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 18, 2017, at Turtle and Crane Assisted Living.

Sandy was born March 1, 1936, in Jackson, Wyoming, to Robert Burns and Florence Johnson Burns. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho and Wyoming. She also attended nursing school.

Sandy was married twice and later divorced. From these unions were born five children, Hoss, Tina, Matt, Terry and Tim. Sandy made her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she worked as a nurse at Good Samaritan in Idaho Falls.

Above and beyond all else, Sandy enjoyed her children and grandchildren.

Sandy is survived by her son, Hoss Prestwich of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Matt Prestwich of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Tina Prestwich of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Dave (Bonnie) Burns of Dubois, ID; brother, Byron Burns of Tri-Cities, WA; sister, Janine (Perry) Schroeder of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Dean Burns of Arco, ID; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Terry Farrell, a son, Tim Farrell, and a grandson Derek Wade.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
