Sandra Smith

Sandra Ann “Sandy” Williams Smith, 57, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 31, 2015, at the home of her daughter, Christina Romine. She was born May 21, 1957, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Laverne Williams and Doris Jorgensen Williams. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Bonneville High School. On October 24, 1975, she married Gary Frank Smith in Idaho Falls. They made their home in Idaho Falls, where they raised their four children, Joshua, Christina, Brian, and Daniel. Sandy was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was also a job coach at Transitions and worked with developmentally disabled adults in the work place. She loved what she did and touched many lives. She accepted people for who they are. Gary preceded her in death on October 22, 2011. Sandy especially loved spending time with her children, as well as her grandchildren. Sandy is survived by: son, Joshua M. (Alicia Dunn) Smith of Vancouver, WA; daughter, Christina Romine of Idaho Falls, ID, son, Brian A. Smith of Idaho Falls, ID; four grandchildren, Preston Smith, Jaren Romine, Gavin Romine, Natanya Romine. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son, Daniel. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Watersprings Church, 4250 South 25th East. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road.
