SANDRA GLEAVE
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Sandra Elaine Gleave, 49, of Idaho
Falls, died September 8, 2004, at home with family present following a
grueling battle with gastric cancer. She was under the care of the Aspen
Foundation for Hospice Care.
She was born January 13, 1955, in Kenmare, North Dakota.
She attended elementary and secondary schools in Kenmare graduating from
high school in 1973.
She married Randy Russell Gleave in Kenmare, North Dakota,
on August 4, 1974. They resided in Dickinson, Turtle Lake, Berhold and
Velva, North Dakota. In 1990, they moved to Kellogg, Idaho, then to Idaho
Falls, where they have lived for 13 years.
Sandra was employed by a number of banking institutions
in North Dakota. After moving to Idaho, she began a very successful climb
in the banking world in her fifteen years as an employee of U.S. Bank.
She began as a teller and ended her career as a district manager in charge
of six branch banks. Sandy had no formal education beyond high school,
but long hours and a relentless work ethic allowed her to advance to her
position in management.
Sandra believed in family above all else. From her 5
siblings, 5 brothers and sisters-in-law, her parents and many other relatives,
she was family motivated. The highlight of her life was her three sons.
She was an avid supporter of their activities and a stabilizing force
in their lives. She enjoyed supporting athletics and was a tremendous
booster because of her positive attitude.
Sandy enjoyed fishing, golfing and any activities that
took place outdoors. She was a member of the Civitans and an active member
of Christ the King Catholic Church. She volunteered her time unselfishly
and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Sandra
not only leaves her family behind, but all those whom have become part
of her extended family through her kindness, generosity and love.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, September 13, 2004, at Christ
the King Catholic Church, (1690 East 17th Street) with Father Caleb Vogel
officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to services
at the church.
Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home East Side.
