Sandra Marie Englis, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 20, 2014, at her home.
Sandra was born February 12, 1942, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Guy Archibald Burch and Stella Hollenback Burch. She grew up and attended schools in Sioux Falls, Washington and Alaska. She attended college at Lewis & Clark University in Oregon and Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
On September 11, 1962, she married Marc Geoffrey Englis in the Logan, Utah, LDS temple. To this union were born seven children, Elisa, Pamela, Kathryn, Christin, Anne, Sarah and John. Sandra and Marc made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, for the past 35 years, where Sandra was a mother and homemaker.
Sandra was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She loved reading and was very well read on many subjects. She loved learning about health issues in order to help those around her. She was creative at heart and loved art and music. She loved talking and visiting with others and was a great listener. She loved the outdoors and liked to canoe, hike and go boating. She enjoyed the ocean and loved going on trips to see it. She enjoyed dancing, reading a good mystery, going to movies and family trips. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and served her family and friends her whole life. Her smile and laugh lit up the whole room and she brought joy to those around her. We will all miss our sweet wife, mom and grandma and are comforted in the fact that we will see her again someday.
