Samantha Haggerty

Samantha Haggerty, 41, of Ammon, passed away January 24, 2022, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Sami was born February 27, 1980, in Mazatlan. Mexico, to Jose Alberto Garcia Zamudio and Maria de Jesus Lizarraga Zamudio. She grew up and attended schools in Mexico and graduated from Conalep High School.

On June 15, 2017, she married Roy Haggerty in Elko, Nevada. Sami and Roy made their home in Ammon, Idaho. She enjoyed camping, golfing, hiking, walking her dog, Faber, and spending time with her family.

Sami is survived by her loving husband, Roy Haggerty of Ammon, ID; children, Jackie, Alan, Isaac, Hayley, Sierra, and Kani; grandchildren, Layla, Ezequiel, Gabriel, Sienna, Karter, Isaiah, and Kynlee; parents, Jose and Maria Zamudio of Mexico; mother-in-law, Gloria Haggerty; and brother and sister, Alberto y Elianith.

She was preceded in death by her tia, Nora Zamudio.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Elks Lodge, 640 E. Elva, in Idaho Falls.
