Sam Martinez

Samuel Simeon Martinez, 7 months, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 17, 2019, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Sam was born September 27, 2018, in Idaho Falls, ID, to David  Martinez and Kenna Betancourt Martinez.

Sam was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved drinking milk and just started eating solid food. Carrots and mangoes were some of his favorites.  He enjoyed head bumping and he was an excellent roller. He could turn around 360° in less than five minutes, and had the best smile with two big dimples.

Sam is survived by his loving mother, Kenna Martinez; father, David Martinez; sister, Jade A Martinez; brother, Dante T Martinez; grandmother, Eva L Betancourt, grandmother, Charlene L Martinez, and grandfather, Isaias M Martinez.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019, at the Idaho Falls 9th Ward, 392 2nd Street. The family will visit with friends from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Cemetery.
