Sally Anderson

Sally Ann Rasbach Anderson, 90, of Ammon, passed away January 23, 2024, at her home. She was under the care of Eden Hospice.

Sally was born January 22, 1934, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to James Irving Rasbach and Jennie Mabel Tawzer Rasbach. She grew up and attended schools in San Francisco where she met the love of her life in junior high school before graduating from Mission High School in San Francisco, California.

On November 15, 1952, she married Kendall Ray Anderson in San Francisco, California. Sally and Kendall made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Sally was a homemaker. Kendall passed away June 7, 2015.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crocheting baby blankets for all her grandkids.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Corine “Corkie” (Dennis) Galloway of Panguitch, UT; son, James “Kimba” (Megan) Anderson of San Francisco, CA; seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Mabel Marie Rasbach, Jane McClure Rasbach, and June Higgins Rasbach; her brother, Fredrick Rasbach; and great grandson, Xander Mann.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, with Jim Williams officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Hardin Township Cemetery in McLelland, Iowa.
