Sally Jo (Adams) Martindale

Sally Jo (Adams) Martindale, 61, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 28, 2021. She was surrounded by loved ones.

Sally was born April 23, 1960, to Banker Robert Adams and Velda Darlene Reading. She moved around a lot as a child, but settled with family in Ashton, Idaho, where she graduated from North Fremont High School in 1978.

In 1980, she married Lance Martindale. They were blessed with three children, Shawn, Megan, and Kelsey. Sally and Lance were later divorced. She made her home and raised her children in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She worked as a dental assistant, in customer service, and for School District 91 over the years.

Sally was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, animals, and reading. Cooking for others was one of her favorite things to do. She loved being surrounded by family and adored her grandchildren.

Sally is survived by her loving children, Shawn (Sheryle) Martindale of Idaho Falls, ID; Megan (Phillip) Tolman of Pocatello, ID; and Kelsey (Jake) Finn of Rigby, ID; siblings, Mark (Diane) Adams, Mike (Nita) Adams, Linda Adams, Judy Adams, Lisa Adams Ledbetter, Michael (Angelyn) Adams and Kelly (Marianna) Adams; step-mom, Marla Adams; 11 grandchildren; and family friend, Scott Long.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Darlene.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
