HOWARD BRINTON
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Samuel Howard Brinton, 83, of Idaho Falls, died May 5, 2002, at Life Care Center.
He was born September 4, 1918 in Murray, Utah to Samuel Howard Brinton, Sr. and Mary Lovenia Boam Brinton. He grew up and attended Murray schools graduating from Midway High School. He then attended Brigham Young University.
He served as a private in the U. S. Army during World War I. He also served a two year mission to the North Central States for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He married Amy Verona Stucki May 31, 1946, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He worked as a farmer until he was 30, then worked as a foreman for Rogers Brothers Potato Processing until his retirement.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, camping, reading, traveling, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren, Kristy Marie Cook Utkin, Alice Angelina Cook, Michael Ryan Cook and Rebekah Noelle Brinton.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2002, at the Ammon LDS Stake Center, 2055 South Ammon Road, with Bishop Dean Goodworth of the Ammon LDS 15th Ward officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, and for one hour prior to the services on Friday at the church.
Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team.
