RYAN GLEN LONGHURST
CLINTON, UT -- Ryan Glen Longhurst, 26, of Clinton, Utah, formerly of Idaho Falls, died April 1, 2002, at the University of Utah Medical Center of complications from cancer and liver disease.
He was born March 5, 1976, at Ft. Collins, Colorado, to Glen Reed Longhurst and Jean Parrish Longhurst. The family moved to Idaho Falls and he grew up and attended schools here, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. In high school he played on the football team and threw the discus on the track team.
He married Tara Ann Nielsen August 8, 1998, in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. They made their home in the Ogden area while he has been attending Weber State University. At the time of his death he was working at Market Star, providing dealer support for Hewlett Packard resellers. He had previously worked as an electrician apprentice and as a stocker at Sam's Club.
An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served a full-time mission to the California, Los Angeles Mission. He loved spending time with his son. He enjoyed computers, fishing, camping, and performing with the vocal group T Minus 5.

Glen [Mildred] Longhurst, Logan, UT He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Reed Longhurst.
Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2002, at the Idaho Falls LDS South Stake Center, 2055 South Emerson, with Bishop Brian Hill of the Idaho Falls LDS Shamrock Park Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, and on Friday for one hour prior to the services at the church. Funeral Services were held in Clinton on Thursday, April 4, 2002.
