RUTH WALKER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Ruth Jane Walker, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 29, 2007, at her home of natural causes. She was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice.
She was born March 11, 1922, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Victor Morse Evans and Edith Sarah Ryan Evans. She grew up and attended schools in Pocatello and Idaho Falls.
She married John David Walker September 28, 1938, in Idaho Falls. She was a homemaker and mother. Her husband passed away February 11, 1988.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed reading, embroidery, and loved spending time with her family.

Son: Edward (Ann) Walker, Idaho Falls, ID
Son: John (Karen) Walker, Idaho Falls, ID
Daughter: Linda (Reed) Heston, Ucon, ID
Daughter: Judy (Gordon) Mathews, Shelley, ID
16 Grandchildren & 42 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, a son, Timothy Walker, and a daughter-in-law, Connie Walker.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2007, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, with Bruce Blanchard officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
