RUTH SUMMERS
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Ruth Dalene Poore Summers, 54, of Idaho Falls, died January 14, 2008, at her home of gastric cancer. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice.
She was born March 18, 1953, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Harold Lee Poore and Evelyn Elaine bush Poore. She attended Ririe Elementary and graduated from Ririe High School.
She married Burl Lane Summers July 9, 1971, in Ririe. She was a mother and a homemaker and worked in banking for the last 30 years. She most recently worked with the Bank of Idaho in the Trust Department.
She enjoyed crafts, needlework, fishing and camping with her family.
She is survived by

Daughter, Stephanie Marie Summers of Idaho Falls;
Brother, Richard (DeeAnn) Poore of Riverdale, UT;
Sister, Carol (Bob) Tanner of Rigby;
Sister, Linda Berry of Hopkins, MN;
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2008, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood East Side and Friday for one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side.

I was so sorry to read about Ruth's passing. I did not even know that she was ill. Burl, you have such a wonderful possitive attitude and refreshing smile.
