RUTH CECIL
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Ruth Lavenia Lee Cecil, 89, of Idaho Falls, died October 7, 2005, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 4, 1916, in Iona, Idaho, to Orrin Ward Lee and Lydia Frances Tracy Lee. She grew up and attended schools in Milo and graduated from Ucon High School.
She married Arthur LeRoy Cecil October 6, 1940 in Milo, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple September 4, 1999. He preceded her in death May 3, 1996. She was a homemaker and had also worked as a presser at White Star Laundry and for Idaho Potato Growers.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served as a Primary teacher, a visiting teacher, quilting chairman and visiting teacher supervisor. She enjoyed sewing, rocks and lapidary, painting, quilting, upholstery, ceramics, flowers, gardening, music, dancing, singing, camping, traveling, panning for gold and anything to do with the outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and all eight of her brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge, with Bishop Wayne Jensen of the Idaho Falls LDS Old Butte Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior the services at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction Wood Funeral Home
