RubyMay Robinson

RubyMay Robinson, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 16, 2026, at her home, causes incident to age, surrounded by her family. She was under the care of Mission Home Health and Hospice.

RubyMay was born November 12, 1943, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Blaine Hammond and Ruby Helen Harrell. She grew up and attended schools in Montana and graduated from Round Up High School. She also attended flight attendant school. Afterward, RubyMay served in the United States Marines.

On July 1, 1967, she married William "Bill" Edward Robinson in Rigby, Idaho. RubyMay and Bill made their home in Idaho Falls where RubyMay worked as a cashier at Walmart.

She was a member of The Hope Lutheran Church and the American Legion. She enjoyed camping with the girl scouts, tending to her tulips and rose bushes. She also loved animals and had many throughout her life. While working at Walmart, she would get a happy meal for lunch and collect the toys for the grandkids.

RubyMay is survived by her husband, Bill Robinson of Idaho Falls; son, Michael (Kali) Robinson of Idaho Falls; daughter, Michelle (Dan) Reader of Chubbuck, ID; daughter, Marcie (Rob) Kinnie of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Everett Tull; brother, Bill (Cheryl) Tull; brother, Bob (Cindy) Tull; sister, Paula (Dave) Roberts; grandsons, Skylar (Stephanie) Robinson, Shane Rice, Cayde Rice, all of Idaho Falls, ID; granddaughters, Addison Robinson of Lewisville, ID, Janelle Carmichael of Jacksonville, FL, Rosalile (Blayden) Sterling of Pocatello, ID, Harlee (Jeremiah) John of Pocatello, ID, Julie VanAuken of Ely, NV; great-granddaughters Layla Sterling of Pocatello, ID, Willamena Rashad-Pickett of Jacksonville, FL; and 2 more great-grandchildren on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; sister, Dorlene Buckey; and adoptive father, Ennis Tull.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April, 24, 2026, at the Blackfoot Veterans Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Wood East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. Military Honors will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
